About Our School
Ortiz Global Academy (OGA International School) was founded in Aomori City in 1996 and since then has grown from a small bilingual preschool and kindergarten into a respected child care center. We can state with confidence that we work hard to create the most enjoyable atmosphere while developing compassionate, inquisitive learners, prepared for global responsibilities.

To provide quality bilingual childcare that is stimulating, safe, and offers a play-based learning environment for children. Committing our efforts to each individual child to do whatever is needed to support them in reaching their potential in all areas of development.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Our philosophy is simple; we put your child first! It is our strong belief that that the early years of a child’s life are profoundly significant to the development of skills and attitudes that are conducive to their achievements later on in life. Children are naturally avid learners, and we encourage and support them to utilize their intellect in a constructive way. Our guiding principle is to help your child master the skills needed to succeed in school and in life — including a strong sense of play! The foundation of our school is based on the belief that personalized attention is the key to success. Every area of your child’s growth is observed and we take great care to support and maintain an environment that is wholesome, caring, & warm so as to guarantee a positive school experience for each child.
Our CURRICULUM
We provide a balanced approach to learning, giving you the peace of mind that your child will have fun as he or she develops socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. With our curriculum we give your child the tools to become confident and self-aware. In a caring and stimulating atmosphere, our passionate and engaging teachers give your child endless opportunities to grow, learn, and imagine—whether building a spaceship to blast off to Mars or inviting a new friend to share a story during group time. We teach children life skills that go beyond reading, writing, and math.
We provide a balance between choice and structured activities, between group and individual pursuits, and between teacher and child-directed experiences.
